Davenport Stables is a full service equestrian center that specializes in riding lessons for people of all ages. Whether the student is 4 or 94 we are here to help everyone acquire the skills necessary to fully enjoy the sport of horseback riding. We are located just north of Minneapolis, MN and live on the grounds so that we may give our horses the individual attention they deserve. In early 2008 we completed our new indoor riding arena which allows our students (and horses) to enjoy their lessons and not worry about the weather outside. We also have a 10x20 heated viewing room for parents and others that accompany our students to their lessons. Our friendly and experienced staff offers both group and private lessons for children as well as adults (husbands included). Our excellent school horses are well trained, safe and appropriate for either beginner, intermediate or more advanced riders. Our emphasis is on safety first and foremost and we tailor our riding programs accordingly.  Our primary goal is to help people develop a better understanding of the horse, safe riding skills and general equine management.
